Merapi Eruption Decreased

Yogyakarta, 18/11 (9:42 am) Until at 12:00 pm this noon, eruption at Mount Merapi still occur with a decreasing intensity, recorded volcanic earthquakes occurred 19 times, with five avalanches and successive tremors. Until now, only a one-time hot clouds appear on the top of Merapi, seen at 3:34 pm. However, The status of Merapi is still in AWAS with possible threat of of lava and hot clouds.
At 5:45 am white grayish solfatara smoke observed with altitude of 1500 meters to South West while at 6:40 am white smoke with altitude of 250 meters lean towards the West also observed. Foggy and cloudy weather still covered up the peak of Merapi until noon today.
People are also encouraged to always follow the instructions given by the local government related to escape scenario from the danger of Mount Merapi.
